Biography of Mike Thompson

Michael Thompson started his exciting American adventure moving from the NE of England in 1988 on a full soccer scholarship. Not long into his college experience he started his first business, a soccer camp company, and has since founded or co-founded small businesses in the mortgage, title insurance, and soccer industries.



Being a small business entrepreneur for 30 years he has earned extensive experience in finance, marketing, and operations including the process of selling a business. This unique perspective as a business owner enables him, as a Business Broker, to understand the emotional attachment his clients have to their business. He strives to manage all aspects of the sales process and help, support, guide and protect his clients as they move from initial meeting to close and post close.

Michael is proud to have called NC his home for the last 28 years currently living in Holly Springs. He is married with three children and still loves soccer as well as reading, gardening, other sports and beekeeping.
